Our hardscrabble travelers begin their day touring the Summerfest grounds in Milwaukee and visiting Kramp and Adler at radio station WLUM. Then they venture to Chicago for a backstage interview with stoner-metal heroes Torche before the band’s set at the historic Congress Theater.

Right now my eardrums are bleeding, yet I’ve got a huge grin on my face. Why? Because I’m blasting the shit out of Torche’s Meanderthal album. I’ve never heard a stoner-metal outfit pack so much energy and melodic brilliance into its punishing, cacophonous, rainbow-fractal wall of lysergic sludge. We are thrilled to have them on board, and can’t wait to see them live! We will be filming the band on May 14 at the Congress Theatre in Chicago.
